This piece was created from a combination of different objects used daily: a round base, a stem to provide grip and a bowl – all in aluminium enamelled with grey and charcoal epoxy resins. The big bowl holds a stainless steel basket with two handles so that the fruit can be washed in running water then put back in the bowl and served directly at table. The space between the basket and the bowl allows the most delicate fruit like strawberries, cherries, grapes, etc. to keep fresher longer.
